Each year A Day of Honor hosts a field day and other family-oriented activities in Stillman Valley, Illinois.  The first three years were very successful and enabled the organization to establish a scholarship program for local high school seniors.

In 2008, A Day of Honor expanded its involvement in the community by sponsoring Challenge Day to come to Stillman Valley.  Challenge Day is a 501(c)3 non-profit whose mission is to provide youth and their communities with experiential workshops and programs that demonstrate the possibility of love and connection through the celebration of diversity, truth, and full expression. The program was very well received and considered a big success.  It is A Day of Honors intention to continue to bring impactful programs such as Challenge Day  to the community for many years to come funded through such activities as the Family Fun Run.
